At 300 km from Ezeiza International Airport is "San Juan Lodge, located in a stunning rural setting in the heart of the Duck region of Buenos Aires Province, the Estancia has a great location and a warm and welcoming style, close to Bolivar city but in a stunning rural setting.
Hunters may also fly from Buenos Aires (Ezeiza International Airport), direct to the lodge in a private flight or by car. The driving time from the Buenos Aires airport to the lodge is 3 hrs.
The program generally starts in the dark after a hearty breakfast and short drive to the shoot.
In the field, you will be assigned a bird boy, who will provide you with shells and refreshments and direct you to your shooting stand.
Hunters are placed in dry blinds, or large dry, sunken buckets of the style of an individual pit blind, or on platform-pallet blinds, sometimes we do have to hunt with waterproof waders.
You will be visited frequently by our head guide who will be available to assist you with any need.
Depending on the time of the year, you will shoot until noon when you will be treated to an incredible Asado, tasting some of Argentina s wonderful beef and superb wines.
The afternoon begins at around 3pm and continues until almost dark.
Silver Teal, Red Shoveller, Speckled Teal, Blackheaded Duck, Ring Teal, Rosey-Billed Pochard, White-Faced Whistling Duck, Fulvous Whistling Duck, Southern Wigeon, Cinnamon Teal, White Cheeked Pintail, Yellow Billed Pintail, Partridge.
Hunters will also have the chance to do Partridge hunting over dogs in the afternoon, and also High volume Dove shooting from the same lodge!. Hunters can enjoy the pursuit of Big game and Wingshooting mixed bag in the same area at Cerro las Tunas Lodge (2 hr from San Juan lodge).
